Mike Kearney founded Kearney Electric in 1977 out of his garage in Tempe, Arizona. Initially named M.F. Kearney Inc., the company quickly grew as Mike hired a few employees to work alongside him. In its early years, Kearney was a small industrial electrical contracting company providing quality service to clients and growing by word of mouth.
Through excellent workmanship and customer service, the company became one of the premier electrical contractors in the Phoenix area. With its growth and success, Mike rebranded the company as Kearney Electric Inc.
In 2000, Kearney launched its Data/Communications team, which grew to become one of the leading telecommunications and fiber optics contractors in the Valley. By combining two industries, Kearney Electric offers superior value-add services to its clients. The company then rebranded as Kearney Electric Communications to align with its new offerings.
Kearney Electric is known for its quality work and maintains a big company presence with a small company family feel, making it a great place to work for nearly five decades.
